Join Our Chocolate Kitchen Team
We’re looking for a chocolatier/kitchen assistant to help in our chocolate kitchen 2 days a week. This will be a fixed term contract starting September 2026, up to and including Christmas 2026, with the potential for a permanent contract going into the new year.
This is a hands-on role in a busy artisan kitchen, perfect for someone who enjoys working with high-quality ingredients and has a genuine love for chocolate.
What we’re looking for
- Experience working with chocolate preferred
- Kitchen experience essential
- Hygiene certification preferable.
- Knowledge of HACCP preferable.
- A liking for crows is preferable.
- Knowledge of allergens.
- Understanding of cross contamination and ability to work safely.
- A positive attitude and good attention to detail
- Someone reliable, organised, and happy working as part of a small team
- The production of chocolate: working with tempering machines, hand tempering on marble, creating shards, moulding and piping, hand dipping, using a flaking machine. Experience in these tasks isn’t essential, training will be provided, but an understanding would help.
- General prep and mise en place.
- This is a small kitchen environment so all tasks related to the kitchen workings will be undertaken.
The role
- Minimum 2 days per week
- Additional hours available throughout November and December as needed
- Rate dependant on experience.
